As our customer and partner, we ask you to join us in our efforts to operate sustainably and responsibly. We encourage you to consider the following recommendations when planning your event to minimize its environmental footprint:
Green Transportation: Opt for sustainable transportation solutions for goods and equipment. We recommend working with providers who use low-emission vehicles and ensuring all transport aligns with green practices.
Public Transport Accessibility: Encourage your attendees to use public transport. With Oslo Spektrum’s proximity to Norway’s largest public transport hub and direct connections to Oslo International Airport, getting to and from the venue by train, tram, or zero-emission bus is easy and convenient. We’re happy to provide guidance to help your attendees navigate Oslo’s transport system.
Sustainable Catering: Collaborate with our skilled food and beverage team to ensure that food choices minimize emissions and waste. We aim to reduce food waste by ordering appropriately, sourcing locally, and using sustainable ingredients whenever possible.
Waste Reduction: Minimize the use of non-recyclable materials in decorations, marketing materials, brochures, and giveaways. We can help you find ways to reduce material use or repurpose items for future events, ensuring a more sustainable approach.
